A notification by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was issued earlier today to state that the tenure of General Qamar Javed Bajwa to be extended for another 3 years.
Political Analysts suggest that this decision has come around 2 months earlier than expected. The reason they assume is for the stability of the region amidst the building tension between India and Pakistan with regard to Jammu and Kashmir’s illegal occupation by India.
It is being stated that General Qamar Javed Bajwa as being the COAS had a vital role in the peace-keeping of the region. And he had carried out plans to implement for further stability. In a situation like this it was a wise decision to have Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa to extend his tenure.
