Like they say, every class has back benchers. But that certainly does not mean that the whole class is full of rascals. I still remember my time in school and YES I WAS a backbencher. Bunking classes and disturbing the teachers was my thing. I also recall the times when my teacher said, ‘Because of one child, everyone has to suffer’. And this everyone included students who were giving it their best. They really deserved to be called STUDENTS.
I bet Mr. Mamnoon Hussain belonged to the same category. He seems to be a mystery and silence is his best friend. But his latest activity will drive all of you crazy and admire him even more.
THE PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN WENT TO THE DRIVING LICENSE OFFICE IN ISLAMABAD AND WENT THROUGH ALL PROCEDURES WHICH AN ORDINARY CIVILIAN WOULD GO THORUGH TO GET HIS LICENSE!
Pakistan, a country where VIP Culture and bribery refuses to cease, also has people who are loyal and full of integrity such as Mr. Mamnoon Hussain.
In a country where even normal citizens can get their licenses made by using their ‘sources’, this act of the President of our country really gives me hope. Yes good rulers DO exist.
Earlier in December 2016, President Mamnoon Hussain appealed to the nation to offer special prayers to seek Divine’s intervention and blessings for the much-needed rain.
Long spells of the dry season had tumbled water level in reservoirs and the underground water table had also dipped further. And we Pakistanis did experience rain after the President had called for special rain prayers to be carried out across the country.
Now I am not saying that BECAUSE of the President, the Almighty decided to bless us with rain but at least Mr. President did what an Islamic ruler would do, something his predecessors did not do. This tells us a little about the personality of the man. Just blabbing about unnecessary stuff is not his thing. He is a quite person but we can never underestimate these type of guys.
HATS OFF TO YOU SIR!!
